WELCOME TO
WILKINS & COMPANY.

The majority of property appraisals by local appraisal districts result in fair and accurate tax assessments.
However, the overwhelming amounts of properties in any given county require the appraisal districts to utilize mass appraisal processes, which can be subject to errors. Very often, important factors that affect value are overlooked, causing overvaluation. The result is property taxes that are unjustifiably high.

Wilkins and Company provides property tax appeal services on all classes of property from office, retail, multi-family, industrial, and hospitality to business personal property. Headquartered in McAllen, Texas, we provide quality service, innovation, and expertise in property tax appeals, property tax research, and property tax litigation support. You pay absolutely nothing unless we save you money!

We believe everyone should pay their fair share of property taxes. But, NEVER more!

Own a Business? Every year, on April 15th,  mandatory Business Personal Property renditions are due. You are required to list ALL furniture fixtures and equipment used in the production of income at your business. Failure to report results in an automatic 10% penalty as well as the loss of your right to protest the final determined value.

The good news is we can help! Due to the time requirements, we do charge a flat fee to prepare and file your rendition for you. Fees depend on the complexity of the report and the completeness of your records.

Due to the fact rendered items depreciate every year, in other words lose value, you could stand to save a substantial amount of property tax dollars by ensuring your account is reported and depreciated to its fullest extent.

Give us a call for a more in depth explanation based on your particular circumstances and/or needs. 631-SAVE.
